A Splitwise alternative without the daily expense limit

Bring your Splitwise expenses. Keep the group moving. Add expenses without a daily cap on Free, and let friends join as guests.

Why people switch to BananaSplit

  • •No daily limit on adding expenses on Free.
  • •Import expenses from a Splitwise CSV.
  • •Include guests now and transfer their data when they join.
  • •Review expenses extracted from receipts, spreadsheets, or transaction screenshots.

Your group has plans. The expenses can keep up.

Keep adding expenses. Even on Free.

Coffee, taxis, groceries, another round. Add every expense as it happens, with no daily cap on expense entry on the free plan. Use equal shares, percentages, exact amounts, or individual items to match what your group actually owes.

The design gets out of the way

BananaSplit keeps the important things obvious: add an expense, see the balance, settle up. The interface is made to feel light and simple when your group is busy living the moment.

Bring your Splitwise expenses with you

Already have a group in Splitwise? Export its CSV and use the Splitwise import in BananaSplit. Review the import before confirming it, so switching does not mean typing every old expense again.

Friends can join the split before they join the app

Add friends as guests without asking them to download anything or create an account. Track their expenses and payments from day one. When they are ready, transfer their guest data to a new or existing BananaSplit account, keeping the history you built together.

A photo full of numbers. Expenses ready to review.

Snap It recognises receipts, spreadsheet images, and transaction screenshots. It extracts the expenses and can prepare several entries from one image. Review and edit them before saving. On receipts, aggregate quantities, duplicate items, or split an item between people.

Give payment reminders their own job

Send a payment reminder when it is time to settle up. Keep recurring rent, utilities, and subscriptions in the same group as everyday purchases, with balances that show who owes what.

Make the expense worth sharing

Use the expense image editor to turn a shared expense into an image with some personality. Send it to your group chat alongside the plans, photos, and everything else you share.
