We are here to redefine splitting.

BananaSplit is a shared-expense app for friends, couples, roommates, and travel groups. It exists because the money part of being together still creates needless friction: balances become unclear, asking for money feels awkward, and logging every little expense can turn a holiday or dinner into group accounting.

Built from the moment, not the legacy

We have used splitting apps for years and kept running into the same old assumptions. BananaSplit is not tied to legacy systems, old wins, banks, or conventional finance playbooks. It is youthful, fast, evolving in public, and built for people who expect more care from the tools they use every day.

The product tracks group expenses, keeps running balances clear, supports flexible split rules, handles recurring costs, and makes expense capture faster with images and bulk workflows. Those features matter because real life is messy: one person pays for dinner, another covers the hotel, a couple splits rent 70/30, and a group trip produces dozens of small payments before anyone thinks about settling.

The standard we want

Shared money should feel clear, fast, and human. Product quality is not optional in financial tools, and precision does not have to come without personality. We want BananaSplit to stay out of the way while people are together, then make every balance and settlement obvious when it matters.

What BananaSplit is today is not static. Leonardo and Diogo are building it in motion, learning from real groups and real shared-money moments. We are not here to make a polite variation of older split apps. We are here because expenses are fluid, splitting is part of everyday finance, and this category deserves craft, care, and taste.
