Vilar de Mouros · Portugal · 17 and 18 August 2026
We went. Vilar de Mouros.
On 17 and 18 August, BananaSplit left the screen and went to Vilar de Mouros with our team. An in-person activation built around real groups, real plans, and the money moving between them.
Chapter 02
Shared money, out in the wild.
At a festival, expenses arrive quickly and almost never arrive neatly. One person pays for fuel, another covers the campsite, someone buys food for the group, and small payments keep appearing until the final set.
That is exactly where BananaSplit belongs: capture each expense without stopping the moment, keep every balance clear, and settle when the group has time. Vilar de Mouros became another chapter of that idea on the ground.
What a group splits at a festival
The big costs are easy to remember. The small, repeated ones—paid by different people—are what make the final balance messy.
- Fuel, tolls, and transport to the festival
- Camping, accommodation, and supplies for the group
- Food, drinks, and expenses throughout the day
- Tickets, merch, and last-minute plans
An in-person campaign
Participation only happened with the BananaSplit team during the activation dates. The live experience is now closed; this page remains in the archive of the moments when we took the product to people who split expenses in real life.
Independent initiative. BananaSplit is not part of Festival Vilar de Mouros.
