We went.Indie Music Fest.

On 4 and 5 September, BananaSplit left the screen and headed to Floresta Mágica in Baltar. Two people, a cooler, two posters, and plenty of conversations at the festival entrance.

Chapter 03

Second time, familiar faces.

Indie Music Fest takes place in Floresta Mágica, in Baltar, and brings different generations together around independent music. It was not the best-known festival on our route, but we liked the lineup. We set up the cooler and posters right at the entrance and started talking.

Fewer groups came through than we expected, so we gave each person more time. We met people who had already heard of us from Paredes de Coura, and we left with two t-shirts hand-painted by The Magic Colors. In the first conversation we are strangers; by the second, we are familiar faces.

It's not just numbers that matter.

The campaign happened at the entrance, in the forest, and in conversation. And in the t-shirts we brought home.

What a group splits at a festival

The big costs are easy to remember. It's the small, repeated ones paid by different people that make the maths messy.

  1. The train from Porto, fuel, or lifts to Baltar

  2. Camping in the forest and supplies for the group

  3. Sandwiches, drinks, and whatever gets paid inside

  4. Tickets, a swim at the pool, and last-minute plans

An in-person campaign

Participation happened only with the BananaSplit team during the activation days, at the festival entrance. This page stays as part of the archive of moments when we took the product to where people are.
