Add your phone and IBAN to your profile

Add your phone and IBAN once. Friends can copy them when it is time to settle, without asking again in WhatsApp.

The split is done. The balance is clear. Then comes the awkward part: "Send me your IBAN?" in a third app, while everyone is already halfway out the door.

You can put that on your profile now. It is our first step toward making it easy for friends and groups to pay each other, right where the split happens.

Your payment details, once

Open your profile and add a phone number, an IBAN, or both. They are optional. They stay with you until you change them.

  • Phone number for MB Way, Bizum, Venmo chats, or a quick call.
  • IBAN for bank transfers, written the way banks expect it.
  • Edit or clear them whenever you want.

Friends can copy, less back and forth

When someone owes you, they should not have to hunt through old messages. Your details show on your profile so they can copy what they need and pay.

A friend's profile in BananaSplit with Phone number and IBAN copy buttons above the balance and Settle up

  • Copy phone or IBAN in one tap.
  • Keep settling inside the same shared-money context, not a side thread.
  • Only share what you choose to add. Nothing is required.

Only your friends can see your details

Phone and IBAN stay private to people you already share money with. Friends in your groups and one-to-one balances can see them. Nobody else can.

  • Not public. Not searchable. Not on a profile open to the whole app.
  • You choose what to add, and you can clear either field anytime.
  • If you never add them, there is nothing to show.

Settle without the chase

BananaSplit already tells people who owes what. Phone and IBAN close the last gap between "you owe me" and "here is where to send it."

This is only the first step. Paying a friend or a whole group back should feel as easy as splitting the bill, and we are building toward that.

Add them once. Let the next trip settle faster.
